My dear Ruthi,
What a lovely space and time to be all that you are being.
Are you suprised winter is your time to grow? A time to slow down from tending to the other growing things. For some cultures, it is a time of quilting, and reading and writing, and storytelling, a time for community and connection, a time for the hands to work their magic on wood and walls.
I’m excited to see what work your hands tend to.
And for me,
I’m excited for the joy of lovely gifts,
like the day’s first breathe,
and first stretch,
and first light,
and first laugh,
and first hug,
and first kiss,
and first creation
of my own hands.
And maybe some apple pie.
I’m excited for the thanks giving.
With love,
Jules
